Dr. Kurklinsky is a vascular medicine fellow at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN where he completed his clinical training at the Gonda Vascular Center. Dr. Kurklinsky continues his work at Mayo Clinic and is involved in translational clinical science activities. Dr. Kurklinsky is a board certified vascular internist and a member of the Society for Vascular Medicine and the American Heart Association.
Dr. Shields is an Assistant Professor of Medicine of the College of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Shields has been a co-director of the Mayo Clinic International Vascular Symposium and has organized the Vascular Interesting Case Conference and Vascular Journal Club educational activities in the Gonda Vascular Center. He has particular interests in thrombophilia and wound management and has a joint appointment in the Division of Preventive and Occupational Medicine as a clinician and clinical investigator in Hyperbaric and Altitude Medicine.
