A Vascular Medicine Fellowship Program should have a core curriculum to help guide the educational content for the trainees. This section will not replace the robust content of the current advanced training document in vascular medicine (see Advance Training in Vascular Medicine) or the content areas covered in the credentialing in vascular medicine or vascular laboratory interpretation (See ABVM and RPVI Exam Content).1-3 However, a curriculum should cover these essential knowledge areas as listed below to assure achievement of core competencies and milestones as outline in the training statement.
